You can come to Fjærland by road number 5 from Skei or Sogndal. Next to the museum, in the intersection of the main road RV 5 and road Fv 152, there is a bus station called “Fjærland kryss”. We recommend our guests to travel by public transport. There are several bus routes leading to us and there is a passenger ferry on the Fjærland Fjord to and from Balestrand and Hella during summer. At the website “Kringom” you find information about public transport.
Fjord Tours offer a very special bus route between the UNESCO world heritage fjords of Geirangerfjorden and Nærøyfjorden in the summer. In Fjærland you can both start, end or get on the tour.
For travelers by electrical vehicle they can use the charging station at the parking lot by the museum. The charging station is run by the operator Grønn Kontakt.
